Between 2009 and 2016 in London, the "active years" of Twonk, all their tunes were written and produced to create a sound to take listeners on a funky, deep and psychedelic disco journey. The 3 Twonksters were spending time on a weekly basis in the studio working with a mix of vintage analog, modern machines and guest performers. From this period remains a collection of abandoned tunes. Most will be forgotten for ever and should be but a few of them are great. Jpye did some digging to select and spend a bit more time in the studio to resurrect the handful of them we believe are good tunes from that special time before Brexit.

Twonk - La Grenouille (2016)

This Twonk cover of Donato's "A Rā" was remixed by Stupid Human and his remix ended up on wax with the Magic Wand Vol 12 the re-edit label of Is It Balearic ? in 2016. The original Twonk mix version was never released until now.
